With UTM's continuous commitment to safety, there is always an ongoing effort to find additional ways to create the safest training environment possible. Working in combination with our suppliers, and at the request of several of our customers, UTM has developed the Blue Safety Magazines, which will add an additional level of safety to your present and future UTM Training Programs by providing clear training indicators to instructors, users, and bystanders that weapons are in "training mode" for Non-Lethal Training Ammunition (NLTA) exercises. 30-round M16/M4, H&K 416, SCAR Light Magazines are available in "SAFETY BLUE".

Note: UTM Training Ammunition can be used in standard weapon magazines but UTM strongly recommends the use of the UTM Blue Safety Magazine for optimum Safety, Reliability, and Performance.

TECHNICAL DATA

• The round is angled at 3 degree to assist feeding into the chamber
• The magazine is fitted with lifting rails which prevent projectile damage of UTM ammunition
• Projectile damage from standard issue magazines is a major cause of malfunctions with UTM ammunition
• Test results repeatedly show 99.9% reliability with this magazine
• Polymer does not deform and allow the magazine lips to cause feeding issues
• The magazine loads very easily completely up to the 30th round
• The unique floor plate design will not dislodge if the magazine is dropped, but is easily removed for maintenance
• This magazine is not compatible with UTM Zinc Rounds
